Dr. Lu is a critical care clinical pharmacy specialist in the Medical Intensive Care Unit. She serves as a preceptor for PGY1 pharmacy residents, as well as pharmacy students from the University of California, San Francisco, Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at the University of the Pacific, and California Health Sciences University.
Dr. Lu received her Bachelor of Science in chemistry from the University of Hawaii, Manoa, in 2006, and Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of California, San Francisco, in 2010. Dr. Lu completed her PGY1 pharmacy residency at Community Regional Medical Center in 2011.
Dr. Lu was honored with the Longs Foundation Award for Excellence in Teaching (“Preceptor of the Year”) for the UCSF Fresno site in 2015 and 2018, and was honored with the UCSF Apple for Excellence in Teaching award in 2017 and 2019. The Longs Award is the highest teaching award given by the UCSF School of Pharmacy.
