Applicant Eligibility


All Applicants
Any applicant interested in obtaining a PGY1 pharmacy residency position that is offered through the matching process must register for and participate in the Match. 

To participate in the Match, an applicant must be a graduate of or graduating from an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy, or otherwise be eligible for licensure.


Applicants Who Graduated from a Foreign School of Pharmacy

Applicants who are graduates of a foreign school of pharmacy that is not ACPE-accredited must provide to PhORCAS, prior to registering for the Match, either a copy of their license for each state in which they are licensed, or a copy of their Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Examination Committee (FPGEC) certificate from the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP).

 

For your application to be complete, all of the following materials must be received through Pharmacy Online Residency Centralized Application Service (PhORCAS) before the due date:
 

  • Letter of intent

  • Current curriculum vitae

  • Official transcripts from a college of pharmacy

  • Three completed reference recommendation forms within PhORCAS

Interviews                       

Eligible candidates will be invited for an interview between January and March.
