Karen Lai, PharmD 

Dr. Karen Lai completed the Community Regional Medical Center’s PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program in 2014. She practices at Citrus Valley Medical Center – Inter-Community Campus as a Clinical Pharmacist. Dr. Lai received her bachelor of science in biochemistry / chemistry and bachelor of arts in economics from University of California, San Diego in 2008 and doctor of pharmacy from Western University of Health Sciences, College of Pharmacy in 2013.

She previously practiced as a Charge Pharmacist at St. Agnes Medical Center and practiced at Community Regional Medical Center as a Transitions of Care Clinical Specialist. Dr. Lawful received her doctor of pharmacy from Philadelphia College of Pharmacy, University of the Sciences in 2004.

 

Christina Wong, PharmD, BCPS

Dr. Christina Wong completed Community Regional Medical Center’s PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program in 2014. She practices as an Emergency Department Clinical Pharmacist at Mills-Peninsula Health Services. Dr. Wong received her bachelor of arts in molecular and cell biology from University of California, Berkeley in 2009 and doctor of pharmacy from University of Southern California, School of Pharmacy in 2013. 

This is a great residency program, especially for those interested in critical care. I think our best asset is our strong preceptors, who are not only knowledgeable, but want to teach. Although I am excited that the residency year is coming to an end, I am sad to leave Community Regional and the amazing people that I have met here.

Dr. Staci Anderson-Stokes completed Community Medical Centers Pharmacy Practice Residency Program in 2003. She currently works for Community Medical Centers as the Manager of Quality, Accreditation, Regulatory, and HRO (High Reliability Organization). She previously practiced at Clovis Community Medical Center as the Medication Safety Coordinator and as a Trauma Critical Care Pharmacist at Community Regional Medical Center and at the Veterans Affairs Central California Health Care System in Fresno, CA. Dr. Anderson-Stokes received her doctor of pharmacy from University of the Pacific School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in 2002.
