Adrienne is a dedicated healthcare professional with a passion for promoting wellness and improving healthcare systems. She earned her undergraduate degree in Health Education and Promotion from Arizona State University and earned a Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration from Louisiana State University, where she gained a solid foundation in health advocacy, education, and community wellness.
Her areas of interest include Human Resources, Patient Advocacy for equitable patient treatment, Military Medical Care and Treatment needs of military personnel and their families, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) projects advancing EEO initiatives within healthcare environments, and Quality Assurance practices. Specifically, Adrienne is interested in the operations of the Cancer Treatment Center, Behavioral Health Unit, and the Quality Assurance practices within the Trauma Center.
Throughout her career, Adrienne has had the opportunity to lead and present on critical safety and awareness topics to large groups, ensuring the well-being of military personnel. These experiences have allowed her to develop and deliver impactful briefings on the vital issues of hearing conservation and suicide awareness, which contributed to meeting her command’s safety requirements and fostering a culture of prevention and support. The first project consisted of providing a Hearing Conservation brief for 200 military personnel for her command's semi-annual Safety Stand-Down (Summer-Autumn). This brief included information on how military personnel are more prone to hearing loss, ways we are exposed to debilitating loud noises in daily life, and prevention practices to protect what hearing abilities we have remaining.
Adrienne's second project consisted of providing a Military Suicide Awareness brief for 220 people at her command's semi-annual Safety Stand-Down (Winter-Spring). This brief included information on the increasing rates of military personnel suicide rates since the beginning of the National Suicide Awareness Campaign in the 1970s, warning signs of ideations and attempts, prevention actions, treatment actions and resources if handling an individual who is suicidal. At the end of each brief, surveys were issued to the audience to grade on the material and overall presentation. These experiences not only allowed Adrienne to contribute to her command's safety goals but also reinforced her ability to deliver important health and safety information to large groups. As a result, she's become a trusted presenter for future Safety Stand-Downs, continuing to support the well-being of her fellow service members through education and awareness.
Adrienne is excited to be a Fellow for the Community Regional Hospital Administrative Fellowship program, as it offers an excellent opportunity to expand her expertise, collaborate with like-minded professionals, and contribute to meaningful healthcare advancements through hands-on project experience.
