We would like to recognize our facility maintenance, engineering, and construction staff for all they do to optimize our hospitals' physical environment during National Health Care Facilities and Engineering Week, October 22-28, 2017.

These important members of the health care team keep our facility operational, safe, secure, and efficient. Because of all they do, there is power, running water, and a safe and comfortable healing environment for all who walk through our doors.

From the photos posted, you may recognize their friendly faces from around the facilities – and if you’re an employee, you’ve had the pleasure of working with one of them because of an issue on your unit or even during an improvement project.  Whatever the encounter may have been or will be – they are efficient, courteous, masters of their trade and treat staff, patients and visitors like VIP customers.

What you may think is ordinary, is truly extraordinary. They are healthcare heroes found in, around, and behind-the-scenes of our massive 24/7 operation at all of our Community Medical Centers' facilities making a difference.

Join me in taking a moment to thank them for their hard work.
