Terry’s House at Community Regional Medical Center just received some hefty help for operations with a $150,000 gift from Rabobank N.A. The home is entirely dependent upon private gifts and contributions.
The Rabobank Family Dining Area at Terry’s House was named in honor of the bank’s contribution.
The 17,000 square foot hospitality home sits across from Community Regional Medical Center – which houses the Valley’s only burn and Level I trauma centers. It’s a place for families of the critically ill or injured patients to stay, eat, sleep, cook and shower, and still be close to their loved one in the hospital.
“An irreplaceable asset, Terry’s House gives comfort and relief to patients, and their families and loved ones,” said Bob Dingler, executive vice president and director of the Food & Agribusiness division for Rabobank N.A. “It is a privilege to continue our support through the Community Medical Foundation, which shares our commitment to providing Terry’s House with the resources it needs to warm people’s hearts year after year.”
“We cannot thank Rabobank enough for their generous gift. This will help Terry’s House continue the great support it provides to families in need,” said Katie Zenovich, vice president, Corporate Development. “Rabobank is truly making a difference in people’s lives when times are often at their toughest.”
Since Terry’s House opened four years ago in January, it has welcomed more than 3,200 families as guests from 42 states and 22 countries. For more information about volunteering or giving to Terry’s House log on to www.TerrysHouseFresno.com
