Dr. Phu C. Tran
Dr. Phu C. Tran practices both cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery. He also has a special clinical interest in treating patients with peripheral nerve injury, such as amputees with phantom limb pain. He is board certified in general surgery by the American Board of Surgery and board-eligible for the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Tran received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine, and completed his general surgery residency at the University of California, San Francisco-Fresno (UCSF-Fresno) program. He then went on to do his plastic surgery training at Indiana University School of Medicine. There, he developed a specialized interest in peripheral nerve surgery and came back to the Central Valley to treat amputees with neuroma pain and phantom limb pain using innovative surgical techniques.
Dr. Tran enjoys both the cosmetic and reconstructive aspects of plastic surgery, and looks forward to helping patients, whether that's to look and feel their best or get back on their feet.
