Kent YamaguchiDr. Kent Yamaguchi is a board-certified plastic surgeon who specializes in hand surgery. He also has a special research interest in inflammation and wound healing.

Dr. Yamaguchi received his medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) School of Medicine, and completed a residency in otolaryngology at University of California, Irvine (UCI), which included a year in internal medicine and general surgery training. From there, he completed fellowships in head and neck surgery at Boston University and plastic surgery at Indiana University (IU). At IU, he rotated at the famed Kleinert Hand Center in Louisville, KY, where he learned from world class hand surgeons.

Dr. Yamaguchi is a native of Fresno and has taught and trained numerous residents of the UCSF Fresno programs. The UCSF Medical Alumni Association recognized him with the distinguished 2017 Alumnus of the Year Award. In his free time, he enjoys traveling and reading.
