Visitor Policy During COVID-19
For the protection of patients and families, as well as our employees and physicians, visitation is currently limited in our hospitals. We encourage patient visits by phone.

Women and Children’s Services Outpatient Support During COVID-19
Patients may be screened prior to any scheduled appointment, such as pregnancy care or newborn care. Our Mother’s Resource Center is available to provide support via telephone and video conferencing with an appointment.

We provide the best care possible to all of our patients, but especially our smallest ones. From newborns to young adults, our pediatric program is here to care for your growing family. Our pediatric program includes 115 pediatric inpatient beds, outpatient care and a community outreach and education program to meet your needs — whatever they may be.

To provide more access to services, especially high-quality pediatric specialty care, Community entered into a long-term agreement with UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals in 2015. UCSF Benioff experts have collaborated with Community Regional to design more child-friendly treatment areas — including a separate pediatric triage area in the emergency room, inpatient pediatrics and a pediatric burn unit. We also provide a wide array of diagnostic and therapeutic services.

Our partnership with UCSF Benioff integrates UCSF’s academic strengths and expertise in perinatal, pediatric specialty care and pediatric critical care with Community’s expertise in obstetrics, neonatology and pediatric primary care.

About 10,000 babies are born in our hospitals every year. And if your baby is born with special needs, you can rest assured they will receive excellent care in our neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), which provides top-notch care for infants with critical needs, including those born prematurely. Thanks to the specialized, high level of care provided in our NICU, moms and babies can both be cared for in the same hospital.

If you have a child in one of our hospitals, our specialists and specially trained staff will work around the clock so you can bring your little one home as soon as possible.
