Our Pediatric program cares for children in the Central Valley with more than 57,000 visits each year. From routine check-ups to specialty care, every child in the Valley deserves access to the care they need.
We provide the best care possible to all of our patients, but especially our smallest ones. From newborns to young adults, our pediatric program is here to care for your growing family. Our pediatric program includes 115 pediatric inpatient beds, outpatient care, and a community outreach and education program to meet your needs - whatever they may be.
To provide more access to services, especially high-quality pediatric specialty care, Community entered into a long-term agreement with UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals in 2015. UCSF Benioff experts have collaborated with Community Regional to design more child-friendly treatment areas – including a separate pediatric triage area in the emergency room, a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, pediatric medical surgical unit, and a pediatric burn unit. We also provide wide array of diagnostic and therapeutic services.
Our partnership with UCSF Benioff integrates UCSF’s academic strengths and expertise in perinatal, pediatric specialty care and pediatric critical care with the Community’s expertise in obstetrics, neonatology and pediatric primary care.
About 10,000 babies are born in our hospitals every year. And if your baby is born with special needs, you can rest assured he or she will receive excellent care in our neonatal intensive care units (NICU), which provides top-notch care for infants with critical needs, including those born prematurely. Thanks to the specialized, high level of care provided in our NICUs, moms and babies can both be cared for in the same hospital.
If you have a child in one of our hospitals, rest assured our specialists and specially trained staff will work around the clock so you can bring your little one home as soon as possible.
