N LOVING MEMORY OF Orrette Ruth Gallimore February 6, 1973 — August 23, 2016 |
Orrette you will be missed, The Emergency Department and the 8 West staff have expressed how you still had that teaching bug in you. Some have expressed that they now understand their telemetry strips better because of the many lectures and cheat sheets you shared. Your love of Caribbean food and sharing of recipes made us wonder if there was anything that you would not put curry seasoning on. Your calm way of observing patient condition changes and swift action was admired by all including the patients and their families. Most of all Orrette the compassion and dedication you had for your patients and coworkers will be remembered and greatly missed.

When tomorrow starts without me, and I'm not here to see,
If the sun should rise and find your eyes, filled with tears for me.
-----------
I wish so much you wouldn't cry, the way you did today,
while thinking of the many things we didn't get to say.
-----------
I know how much you love me as much as I love you,
and each time you think of me, I know you'll miss me too.
-----------
When tomorrow starts without me, don't think we're far apart
for every time you think of me, I'm right there in your heart.
