It's been 10 years since Community Health System switched over inputting patient medical records from paper charts to the digital platform, EPIC. We sat down with Dr. Hagop Afarian, associate chief medical informatics officer, and Jaime Franklin, chief information officer, to learn how this change is not only efficient for medical staff, but for our patients as well.
