In honor of Pete Dern and all first responders on 9-1-1, Mayor Ashley Swearengin is making a gift to the Leon S. Peters Burn Center in downtown Fresno and is challenging others to do so today as well.

She was so inspired by Fresno City Fire Capt. Pete Dern's homecoming she wanted to do something to show her appreciation of the Burn Center at Community Regional Medical Center – the only comprehensive burn center between Los Angeles and Sacramento who has cared for so many of our first responders.
