It’s hard to miss the tower of steel going up on the campus of Clovis Community, soon to be a new 5-story bed tower housing 205 all-private patient rooms.

But if you look beyond the massive construction on the west side of the campus, there’s a bustle of activity on the east side of the campus as well.

These photos were taken on the construction site from the second story of the 5-story bed tower.

 When finished, the second floor of this addition will increase the inpatient surgical suites from four to 11.  More than 11,000 surgeries are performed annually at Clovis Community's newly expanded Outpatient Care Center, which houses 10 surgical suites.

The $300 million expansion is expected to be complete at the end of 2013. See a virtual tour.
