Clovis Community Medical Center reached a milestone as the last steel beam on the new 5-story bed tower was hoisted and put in place. Community executives and many from Clark Construction signed the beam prior to its placement on the 90-foot high bed tower.
The $300 million inpatient expansion project at Clovis Community is the largest expansion investment Community Medical Centers has made since the six-story trauma and critical care building at Community Regional Medical Center in downtown Fresno. The expansion, scheduled to be completed in 2013, will nearly double the hospital’s capacity to 205 all private rooms – making Clovis Community the first full-service hospital in the region with all private beds.
