Wells Fargo & Company on July 28 announced a $100,000 grant to Community Medical Centers in support of initiatives at two of its acute hospitals in the Valley - Community Regional Medical Center and Clovis Community Medical Center.

The funds will support the Dan Brown Legacy Fund at the Central California Neuroscience Institute, the Leon S. Peters Host Family Program for Terry’s House at Community Regional, and at Clovis Community, the funds are designated for the Leon S. & Pete P. Peters Future Generations Center and continuing medical education.
 

“Wells Fargo has been a model corporate citizen. They have been an exemplary partner allowing our health care system to continue its commitment in delivering the highest level of care to a region in need,” said Rob Saroyan, Community Foundation’s vice president of Fund Development. “They are in a league of their own.”
 

Not only does Community Medical Centers three acute-care hospitals provide the highest level of care in central California but its service area is one of the largest in the state - about 15,000 square miles and roughly the size of New Jersey, Rhode Island and Connecticut.

“We hope that this gift will benefit the sustainability of Terry’s House and the Dan Brown Legacy Fund for years to come,” said Sandy Raco, Wells Fargo Central Valley market president. “Even though the challenging times of having a loved one in critical care may be something many would rather forget, we hope that they will remember Terry’s House and the Dan Brown Legacy Fund. We are equally ecstatic to be able to support the Clovis programs as well and take part in this effort to support our local businesses and the people in our community.”
