Jim Christian has been involved with Terry’s House since its inception – with friend Jeff Kroeker he spearheaded efforts to build and fund the home away from home for families with critically ill or injured loved ones at Community Regional Medical Center. Now Jim and his wife Debbie have donated a piece of property worth $1.5 million to help seed an endowment for Terry’s House.

The Christians’ gift will help sustain Terry’s House, which relies solely on donations from the public. Katie Zenovich, vice president of corporate development, said “Making a gift of real estate, life insurance or assets like an investment, is a great giving option. Doing so can make a big impact – in this case, help sustain the house for years to come.”

“We were trying to figure out our best way of passing on our success in life,” said Jim. His wife Debbie added, “We want to continue that compassion [of Terry’s House] and make sure it will always be there for folks who aren’t as fortunate as we are. We are happy to be doing what we’re doing. So look into your hearts and do it too.”
