It’s this time of year that Community Medical Foundation announces its Ultimate People. These individuals or groups have gone above and beyond in their commitment and support of Community Medical Centers throughout 2013.

Their strong reputation for professional excellence, helping create a culture of philanthropy, and giving back through generous contributions are just some of the reasons why they are so deserving of this recognition.

Help us celebrate and recognize these individuals and organizations for all that they do day in and day out!

2013 Ultimate People:

Hilda Herrera
Hilda works as an ambassador/customer service representative at Community Regional Medical Center. She provides outstanding service to patients and their families from her post at the information desk. She’s one of the first people patients and visitors meet upon entering the hospital. Through employee giving and by example, Hilda is constantly showing what it means to give back to Community. Hilda’s commitment is exemplary and inspires all who know her to do their very best as well.

Clovis Community Medical Center Guild
The Guild has a long history of supporting Clovis Community Medical Center. Since 1954, they have given of their time and talents for special projects to help a variety of areas at the hospital. Stop by Clovis Community’s gift shop that is fully run by Guild members. This strong group have built a legacy of generosity that will last for years to come.

Gloria Jimenez, M.D.
Dr. Jimenez’s is a hospitalist at Fresno Heart & Surgical Hospital. She coordinates inpatient care from admission through discharge. Her extraordinary efforts and big heart have made a significant difference in creating a culture of philanthropy at Community.  Dr. Jimenez is a true “throw back” modern day physician who would even make a house call if that made a difference to her patient.  An amazing quality from a leader who brings positive attitude every day.

Jeffrey Thomas, M.D.
Dr. Thomas works as an obstetrician/gynecologist at Community Regional and Clovis Community. He’s served as past president and president-elect for the medical staff providing his knowledge and expertise to many. He brings relief to patients, not just by his care, but through his outgoing personality. Dr. Thomas answers the call anytime the Foundation calls on him to work with a “grateful patient” who is interested in making a gift.

If you see one of Community’s Ultimate People, reach out and extend a job well done! We are proud of them.
