Thanksgiving Is Soon Upon Us...

...and so is the potential to consume an average of 4,500 calories during a typical Thanksgiving Feast-yikes!

Oh well, it's only one time per year, right? I like the saying: "It's not what you do between Thanksgiving and New Years, it's what you do between New Years and Thanksgiving".

Oh well, it's only one time per year, right? I like the saying: "It's not what you do between Thanksgiving and New Years, it's what you do between New Years and Thanksgiving".

My motto around the Holiday season is: definitely enjoy, don't get too hung up on the extra consumption, and mainly have a good time celebrating with colleagues, friends, and family. I do try to pace myself as I end up being invited to many events. I try to consume plenty of water before, during and after the events to moderate the impact of rich food and drinks.

I hope you have blessed holidays, and just think, your Thanksgiving meal is the equivalent of 15 ice cream sundaes!
