Labor & Delivery

The birth of a child — whether it’s your first or not — is one of life’s most exciting and memorable moments. It can also be a little scary, especially if your pregnancy is high risk. We understand the complexity of emotions experienced by new and seasoned parents alike. That’s why it’s our goal to make your labor and delivery as smooth and uncomplicated as possible. Our doctors, nurses and specialists will be with you every step of the way, ensuring a nurturing environment for you and your baby.

Whether you choose to deliver at Clovis Community Medical Center or Community Regional Medical Center, you can expect to go through labor, delivery and postpartum care with your caregivers and family close by your side. And if your baby is born with special needs, you can rest assured he or she will receive excellent care in our neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), which provides top-notch care for infants with critical needs, including those born prematurely.

More than 60 percent of Fresno County’s babies, more than 11,000 a year, are born at our two birthing facilities. So when you’re ready to grow your family, visit our family at Community, where our caregivers are passionate about providing a safe, compassionate and nurturing environment for you and your baby.
