A family -- mom, dad and two children -- gather in front of the Christmas tree.
While the holidays might look a little different this year, smaller in-person gatherings are still possible.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) provides various tips to celebrate safely during the holidays, including:

  • Delay any travel until you’re fully vaccinated against COVID-19
  • Always wear a mask over your nose and mouth in public
  • Wash your hands often with soap and warm water
  • Avoid crowds
  • Stay six feet away from anyone who’s not traveling with you

Even if you’re vaccinated, outdoor gatherings are generally safer than indoor.

Please help keep everyone safe and ensure the health of our community and each other. If you’re feeling sick, have COVID-19 symptoms, or have been in close contact with someone who has COVID-19, stay home and don’t attend or host any gathering this holiday season.
