Nationally and here at Community Medical Centers we are celebrating Clinical Engineering and Traction Appreciation Week from May 21-26, 2017.  This annual event is a special time to show our appreciation for the critical work of the healthcare professionals who are responsible for servicing and maintaining medical equipment throughout its life cycle.

Our Clinical Engineering staff here at Community are quick and skillful technicians, making sure our life-saving biomedical equipment and complex diagnostic, imaging technology are working for patient care. Our Clinical Engineers handle everything from acquisition, installation and calibration, to testing, inspection and repair of things like MRI and CT scanners. Depending on the needs of our clinicians, our Clinical Engineer service team will provide a plan specifically tailored to keep equipment running at peak performance. Our Traction Technicians deliver quality apparatus equipment, respond to code blue alerts, and stock drugs.

Community Medical Centers’ Clinical Engineers and Traction Technicians are educated, qualified and experienced. They take great pride in delivering excellent quality service and recognize how biomedical equipment interacts with patients. We understand the challenges of keeping biomedical equipment functioning properly and work directly with healthcare personnel to deliver extraordinary service.

We maintain relationships with many service and parts vendors. These relationships, combined with our dedication to facilities' success, allow us to resolve equipment problems on a large span of makes, models and manufacturers.
