We would like to take a moment to honor and recognize the amazing work done by our security teams during National Healthcare Security Week, October 9 – 13, 2017.

Our security teams do more than you may realize. From answering calls at the switchboard, dispatching security officers, staffing the information desk, transporting patients to and from appointments, to assisting with badge access, and more! The Security Department ensures that the safety and comfort of our staff, patients, and visitors is always the top priority.

In the last year, our Security team:

  • Answered more than 1.25 million calls placed to our switchboards

  • Responded to more than 200,000 calls placed directly to Security

  • Answered more than 10,000 calls placed to 911

  • Monitored more than 1,500 cameras and 1,600 panic buttons

With a security team the size of the Clovis Police Department, you can be comforted in knowing these friendly and skilled officers have your back - in any situation, for any emergency, and are willing to even go above the call of duty to help deliver a baby - if needed. Yes, it’s happened.

Learn more about our talented security team in a recent episode of MedWatch Today.

In celebration of National Healthcare Security Week, please take a moment to recognize and thank the security teams in Switchboard, Dispatch, Transportation, Security Access, Security Officers, and Ambassadors for all of their hard work and dedication.
