Limb Preservation
Patients evaluated at the Center for Wound Healing who are determined to be at-risk for a limb amputation may be referred to the Limb Preservation Program for specialty evaluation of vascular function, testing and possible vascular or surgical intervention.
At Clovis Community Medical Center our approach to the evaluation and treatment of peripheral vascular disease along with our team of vascular surgeons, interventional radiologists, cardiologists, internists, podiatrists and other related specialists ensure the most appropriate intervention to help save a diseased limb.
This comprehensive approach addresses vascular, infectious disease, medical and related components of wound healing to ensure patients have the best opportunity to avoid an amputation or a more severe amputation (e.g. toe vs. foot.)
