Precision is everything when millimeters make a difference.
Clovis Community Medical Center continues to invest in resources that give our patients access to the most state-of-the-art tools and treatments available. Da Vinci® robotic surgery is a break-through technology that gives surgeons a means to make extremely precise movements, transforming treatment options for many cancer surgeries, gynecological and urogynecological surgery as well as general, bariatric and colon-rectal surgery. Da Vinci does not replace the surgeon, but rather enhances the surgeon’s skill by providing magnified, three-dimensional (3D) view of the surgery site allowing the surgeon to see in greater detail than what's possible with the human eye.

Clovis Community is the first hospital between Sacramento and Los Angeles with the latest da Vinci Surgical System® technology currently available – the da Vinci Xi® robot. This state-of-the-art technology is specifically designed for use in highly complex surgical cases, especially abdominal cancers with lymph node involvement, colorectal tumors, thoracic/lung tumors or other conditions involving all four quadrants of the abdomen.

da Vinci Si® (Single Site)

If your doctor recommends a hysterectomy, gall bladder removal or hernia repair, use of the da Vinci (Si) robot may be an option for you. Patients who qualify for single-site surgery experience virtually scar free results because the surgeon operates through one small incision in the belly button. The Si also features advanced 3D HD visualization and magnification, offering surgeons an immense view of the surgical area.
