The birth of a new baby is a time of great joy—a life changing event that lasts in our minds and hearts forever. At Community Medical Centers, the birth of every new baby is a time of celebration for us too because our family grows a little bigger. With over 14,000 babies born each year at the Clovis Community Medical Center and Community Regional Medical Center, we have many reasons to be joyful.
To celebrate the event of each baby born at Clovis Community, we provide the opportunity to have their name displayed on the Leon S. & Pete P. Peters Future Generations Baby Honor Wall. It is our way of celebrating the new lives we have helped welcome into the world, while raising important funds for the family birthing center at Clovis Community. This unique opportunity makes a special gift for your children, grandchildren, family members, friends, employees’ children or others - and will be viewed and admired for generations to come.

What is the Leon S. & Pete P. Peters Future Generations Baby Honor Wall?
It is an exciting and meaningful way to commemorate all of the babies born at Clovis Community since 1988, while generating funds to support vital programs and services for the family birthing center at Clovis Community. An attractive wall containing spaces available to display thousands of baby names is installed on the second floor of Clovis Community.
How will the Future Generation Fund benefit the Central Valley?
Funds generated from the Future Generations campaign will go directly to support programs, services and future expansion in the family birthing center at Clovis Community. As the Central Valley's population expands, these funds will be used to help meet the needs of our growing population and continue to bring the very best in treatment for our littlest residents and their moms before, during and after delivery. Clovis Community is one of the highest rated facilities for women's services in the Central Valley and the Future Generations campaign will help ensure that we can continue to bring excellence in medicine for this and future generations. From "daddy beds" and other comforts to the latest diagnostic equipment, medical experts, programs and services, your support will help Clovis Community continue our high level of care and remain the facility of choice for a lifetime of health.
How do I participate?
This tax deductible gift of $150 to the Future Generations Fund will provide each baby a place on the wall with their name and birth date. Multiple plaques for additional children may be purchased. A certificate confirming the gift(s) will be sent to the person purchasing the baby naming opportunity(ies).
Forms are available in several ways:
- Future Generations Baby Invitations and order forms are available to all new babies born at Clovis Community. New parents will receive the invitation and form during their stay at Clovis Community.
- Forms are also available by contacting Community Medical Foundation. Alternatively, the Foundation will be happy to process your gift(s) over the phone.
Payment options include cash, check, credit card and money order. Checks should be made out to "CMC—Leon S. & Pete P. Peters Future Generations Baby Honor Wall". Please feel free to contact Community Medical Foundation for any other questions about your tax deductible gift.
How will the baby's family be notified?
After a plaque has been purchased, a thank you note and frameable certificate will be sent to the person who has purchased the plaque. The certificates make a great gift!
