Having ears that stick out can take a toll on your self-esteem and confidence, but there’s a solution for correcting them and gaining back your self-confidence — an otoplasty, or ear pinning surgery.

What’s Ear Pinning?

Ear pinning (otoplasty) is a cosmetic plastic surgery procedure that changes the shape, position or size of your ears. It's typically performed to correct ears that stick out too far from the head, and can be done after the ears have reached full size, usually after age five.

Ear pinning is done under general anesthesia and usually takes between one and two hours.
