Community Regional's pediatric inpatient unit is the 11-bed unit for patients needing overnight hospital stays, but not intensive care.

It is staffed by a team of pediatric hospitalist physicians who will coordinate your child's care while in our hospital. They organize the communication between different specialists and will be your main point of contact for questions, updates about the comprehensive plan of care.

Our highly skilled nursing and physician team provides care to patients recovering from all types of surgery or a wide range of diagnoses. Your care team may include other clinicians like respiratory therapists, physical therapists, dietitians, or others depending on your child's care needs.

We participate in the California Children’s Services (CCS) Program. It’s a state program for children with certain CCS-eligible chronic diseases or health problems. CCS provides resources for children under 21 years to have access to necessary diagnostic and treatment services, medical case management, nutrition management and physical and occupational therapy services.
