The birth of your baby is a special time for your family, and we realize it may also be a stressful one if you have a premature or critically ill newborn. During this challenging time, you want and need the absolute best care possible. In our neonatal intensive care units (NICU), we combine clinical expertise with compassionate care for babies who arrive early or have unique needs.
Community Regional Medical Center’s rating as a Level 3 NICU means it’s licensed by the state to care for some of the sickest infants and offers around-the-clock care in its 84-bed unit — the largest Level 3 NICU in the Valley.
Infants with complex critical care needs, including prematurity and babies with a variety of diagnoses are cared for in a calm and welcoming environment. We provide comprehensive labor and delivery services along with Level 3 NICU care in one location to keep ill newborns and their mothers together.
Clovis Community Medical Center's Level 2 NICU provides a compassionate and family-centered environment where parents are encouraged to be active partners in the care of their infants. Our NICU is an 8-bed unit that cares for infants born around 32 weeks of gestational age or greater, providing a higher level of care without having to transfer them to another facility.
