The Patient and Family Advisory Council is a partnership between Clovis Community Medical Center patients, family members, staff and healthcare providers who are dedicated to improving care and the experiences of patients and their families at the hospital.


The feedback this volunteer group provides helps us develop care and services to better meet the needs of our community. We look for advisors who reflect the diverse experiences of the patients and families we serve.
 

Advisor Duties

Patient and Family Advisors work together with Clovis Community’s clinical team. They promote patient and family-centered care by:

  • Participating in monthly discussions

  • Actively sharing stories, experiences and ideas

  • Providing clear and constructive feedback

  • Participating in special projects as requested 


Advisor Requirements

  • Must have been a patient, or the family member of a patient, hospitalized within the last year

  • Must commit to being on the committee for at least one year

  • Must agree to protect patient confidentiality.
