Patients Without Insurance
We're the Central Valley's essential "safety net" provider, caring for a large share of the uninsured and underinsured in Central California — a region that's considered one of America's most challenging for healthcare. If you're uninsured or have high healthcare costs, you may be eligible for free or discounted hospital care.
If you don't have health insurance, our staff is here to help you find and access government or private programs that may help you pay for healthcare. The first step is to see if you're eligible for a government-sponsored health program like
Medi-Cal
or
Medicare
. If you qualify, these programs can provide access to healthcare and other social services for you and your family.
California law requires hospitals to offer reduced rates to patients with low or moderate incomes. The federal government also helps cover medical costs of some qualified patients.
