Band Together to Beat Cancer [Photo Gallery]

On October 27, 2018, we partnered with Fresno State football to Band Together to Beat Cancer. The Fresno State Bulldog Marching Band performed a special halftime show with special appearances by former Bulldog athletes who have survived battles against cancer. Take a look at some of our photos from the event and inside the stadium.

A Hawaiian luau feast, a fight against cancer and some great football helped make Fresno State’s homecoming game a great success.

Community Medical Centers was the night’s presenting sponsor, dubbing the entire event Band Together to Beat Cancer night. We hosted a special tailgate event and the Bulldog Marching Band, cheerleaders and dance teams wore customized sashes with the names of people affected by cancer during their halftime performance. We also lit up Bulldog Stadium with special red light-up wristbands in honor of those same fighters.

The entire night was to raise support and awareness for our cancer services and our new Community Cancer Institute on the Clovis Community Medical Center campus. And to top it all off, the Bulldogs beat Hawaii to move into the national rankings!
