When a critically ill or injured patient arrives at Community Regional Medical Center, family is usually close behind. Terry’s House, located directly across the street from Community Regional in downtown Fresno, is a home-away-from-home for families of critically ill patients. Built in 2011 and funded solely on donations, Terry’s House is a place where families can eat, sleep and recharge while waiting to bring their loved one home.
Why is Terry’s House so important? Many patients come from outside of the Central Valley and their families must be away from home for extended periods of time, making it difficult for some to pay to stay in a hotel. Terry’s House provides a compassionate and supportive environment to make it possible for families to stay close to their loved one in their time of need.
Why Terry's House Needs YOU
The sustainability of Terry’s House is entirely dependent upon private gifts and contributions and we need your support.

Unique Ways to Give
Terry’s House is entirely dependent on charitable contributions and there are many ways to give. You can choose to host a meal
for our families or donate gift-in-kind items from the wish list
. You can also pay for a family’s nightly lodging needs or become a member of TH5, an annual giving program to help sustain the home’s daily operations.
The Leon S. Peters Host Family Program
This program is designed to help families pay for lodging they couldn’t otherwise afford in order for them to stay close to a loved one in critical care at Community Regional.
