A reminder to slow down and pay attention at all times, whether driver or pedestrian. Community Regional Medical Center is home to the region’s only Level 1 Trauma Center and participates in Safe Kids USA – a nationwide network of organizations working to prevent unintentional childhood injury. Members of Safe Kids Central Valley received a grant from Safe Kids USA to bring enhanced crosswalk safety to some Fresno area elementary schools.

Occupational safety team saves $2.5M on Clovis Community expansion

New child safety seat law

The new child safety seat law in effect Jan. 1, 2012, prohibits anyone from transporting a child under 8 years old without securing that child in an appropriate child passenger restraint system meeting applicable federal motor vehicle safety standards.
