Family and friends help brighten a patient’s day and can help speed their recovery. During the patient’s hospitalization at Community Regional Medical Center, our goal is to provide an environment that promotes healing and provides a positive experience for patients and visitors.
Open visiting hours are from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Children of any age are welcome in the first floor waiting areas. Children under age 12 are not allowed to visit patients unless special arrangements are made with the nurse manager located on the patient’s floor.
The gift shop is located off the main lobby. Newspapers, magazines, cards, flowers and gifts may be purchased there. Outtakes also offers Peet’s coffee, smoothies, sweet treats, pastries, sandwiches and much more. Visitors should check with the patient’s nurse before bringing gifts of food or drink to patients, since some are on restricted diets. If visiting the Intensive Care Unit, please check with the staff regarding any gifts for patients. Outtakes is open every day from 6:30 a.m. - 2:00 a.m. daily.
For the convenience of family and visitors, Community Regional’s Café Pistachio is open 24 hours a day 365 days a year. The café offers a coffee bar, snacks, and breakfast, lunch and dinner. The café is located off the main lobby.
An ATM machine is located in the cafeteria.
The Chapel/Meditation Room is located on the first floor of the hospital, off the main lobby near Admitting. The room is always open to patients, their families and visitors. Please see an admitting representative for access to the Chapel/Meditation Room.
Community Regional Medical Center adheres to a non-smoking policy within the hospital. Visitors may only smoke outside in designated smoking areas.
Mail and flowers are delivered to patient rooms by hospital volunteers Monday through Friday between the hours of 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. and on Saturdays between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Due to patient privacy and confidentiality laws, no deliveries will be made to patients who have chosen not to be listed in the hospital’s directory. Deliveries will not be forwarded to patients who have been discharged.
