Community Regional offers one of the most advanced neuroscience centers in the state at the Central California Neuroscience Institute at Community Regional Medical Center. As a training site for the UCSF Fresno Medical Education Program in affiliation with UCSF School of Medicine, the center has earned "Center of Excellence" status. Thanks to a team of expert medical professionals with the latest technologies in the field, the neurosciences team is able to effectively treat a wide range of neurological, spinal and nervous system disorders.

Neurological patients who are admitted to Community Regional receive treatment in our state-of-the-art, 52-bed neurosciences unit, which is staffed with highly trained experts who assist patients around the clock. As the only Level 1 trauma center between Los Angeles and Sacramento, we have a neurosurgeon on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Community Regional also is home to some of the most advanced diagnostic imaging equipment found anywhere in the world. This revolutionary technology allows our care team to pinpoint problem areas within millimeter accuracy and perform the most minimally invasive procedures possible – meaning you can get better, faster.
