We have the only comprehensive round-the-clock, fully staffed burn center between Bakersfield and Sacramento

Patients are treated by a medical team specially trained to care for adults and children with burn injuries. In 2010 alone, the burn center performed more than 11,000 burn procedures and nearly half of those treated were children.

Burn injuries are one of the leading causes of hospitalization and death for children in the Central Valley. Most children treated at the Peters Burn Center were scalded by hot liquids related to cooking.
