Medical Imaging/Radiology & Lab – We house the region's first 128-Slice CT scanner which performs detailed cardiac imaging of a beating heart, reducing the need for heart-slowing beta-blocker drugs and offering the lowest possible radiation exposure and twice as fast heart images. This state-of-the-art CT scanner includes the widest bore and highest weight limit for the table to better accommodate our bariatric patients.
Medical/Surgical, ICU & Telemetry – We have 109 beds, including seven dedicated to intensive care, but are expanding to double our capacity and increase comfort and care with all private rooms and an additional 17 ICU beds.
24-Hour Emergency Department – We treat more than 30,000 patients every year and are building to triple the size of our full-service emergency services.
Rehabilitation & Physical Therapy – At Community Physical Therapy-Clovis we offer outpatient physical rehabilitation services to relieve pain, improve strength and restore functional abilities. Outpatient physical therapy is provided to adolescents and adults based on a physician referral. Our licensed physical therapists perform an extensive evaluation, treatment and education to the patient following an accident, illness, injury and/or surgery.
Rehabilitation services are offered for orthopedic, sports, industrial, neurological and balance rehabilitation needs. For more information, contact our physical therapy office at (559) 324-4057.
Palliative Care – Palliative care affirms life and recognizes that death is a normal part of the life cycle and does not intend to hasten or postpone death. This approach to care is applicable from the time a patient is diagnosed with a life-threatening illness. It differs from Hospice in that the patient does not have to be terminal and may also seek curative therapy while receiving palliative care services. (To be eligible for hospice, a patient needs to have a prognosis of six months or less and must forgo curative therapy.)
We offer active total care if you or a loved one is facing a life-threatening illness. We work with you to optimize quality of life by expertly managing pain and other symptoms, and helping with psychosocial and spiritual problems. We view the patient and family as a unit and provide support in what can be an over-whelming time.
