Kelli Beingesser, MD
Dr. Kelli Beingesser received a BA in Biology and Chemistry from Claremont McKenna College in 1983, and an MA in Biochemistry from University of California, Santa Barbara in 1985. She attended George Washington University School of Medicine, Graduating in 1989. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at University of California, San Francisco (University Medical Center (UMC)) in 1994, where she received awards for Outstanding Resident Teacher and Resident of the Year. Since she finished her residency, she has continued on the faculty of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at UMC, and has received several teaching awards. Dr. Beingesser is a co-founder of Fresno Women’s Medical Group. She is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dan Dorough, MD
Dr. Dan Dorough grew up in Sanger, California where his father was the Superintendent of Schools for twenty-five years. After graduating from Sanger High School, he attended the University of California at Davis where he received high honors, and a BS in Biochemistry. He graduated from the Medical College of Virginia in 1986, and went on to complete his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of California, San Fransisco-Fresno. Dr. Dorough had been in private practice in Fresno since 1990. He co-founded the Women's Specialty Center located on the Clovis Community Medical Center campus in 1993. He is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He currently sees patients with all obstetric and/or gynecologic problems, including those that require complex, minimally invasive, laparoscopic surgical procedures.
Michael Illingworth, MD
Dr. Michael Illingworth was born in Long Beach, Calif. where he attended college, graduating top of his class with a BS in Physiology. After graduating from the Medical College Of Wisconsin in 1988, he moved to Fresno to complete his OB/GYN training at University of California, San Francisco - Fresno. Dr Illingworth opened his private practice in 1992 on the campus of Clovis Community Medical Center, where he continues to provide excellent, personalized care to both Obstetric and Gynecologic patients. He has been performing cutting-edge laparoscopic surgeries for 19 years and is an integral part of the exciting evolution of minimally-invasive surgical options for women of the Central Valley.
Christine Lopopolo, MD
Dr. Christine Lopopolo graduated magna cum laude from California State University, Fresno in 1994, with a major in Psychology. She attended Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where she received her MD degree in 1999. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Maricopa Medical Center and St. Joseph’s Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona in 2003. Dr. Lopopolo has been elected to numerous honor societies throughout her education, and has received awards for her involvement in research projects during her training. She is board certified and a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and specializes in advanced laparoscopic and pelvic floor surgery.
Stewart W. Mason, MD
Dr. Stewart Mason is a local "home grown boy." Born and raised in the Fresno-Clovis area, he attended Clovis schools and did his pre-medical training at California State University, Fresno. He went on to do his medical school training at the Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, then returned home for Internship and Residency training at University of California, San Francisco - Fresno (Valley Medical Center.) During training, he authored several papers and received several awards. Dr. Mason is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He currently performs Obstetrics and Gynecology with special emphasis on high-risk obstetrics and minimally invasive techniques of gynecology.
