Radin Foundation gifts second million

Thanks to a second $1 million contribution from the Radin Foundation in just more than a year, Clovis Community Medical Center continues expanding breast care services at the new Marjorie E. Radin Breast Care Center.

Since its inception last May, the Center has performed more than 2,250 mammograms for Valley patients as well as hundreds of other services and procedures.

The funds will be used to increase capacity for patients and further enhance technology and equipment.

Equipped with the latest technologies, the Radin Breast Care Center offers a wide range of state-of-the-art screening and diagnostic capabilities, using digital mammography and minimally invasive stereotactic and ultrasound-guided biopsies to provide diagnosis and treatment for a full spectrum of breast conditions. The Radin Breast Care Center is dedicated to offering the best resource for early detection, breast health services, information, support and research in central California.

The holistic focus of the Radin Center is on the physical, emotional and spiritual aspects of each patient. A woman who is diagnosed with a breast condition receives a convenient, timely response and seamless coordination of care during the course of the diagnosis and treatment process, enhanced by the benefits of research and patient support services. The multidisciplinary team of physicians at the Radin Center provide unsurpassed breast care experience and offer women early and accurate diagnoses, advanced treatment options and in-depth personal guidance.

The Radin Foundation, currently under the direction of Jason Liao and Les Findley, was founded by Marc Radin in 1971, and has been a longtime benefactor of Community and numerous organizations in the region.
