After a debilitating motorcross accident, orthopedic surgeon Peter Simonian helps Philip Sancken walk again.
Philip Sancken has enjoyed riding motocross competitions for years, but when an accident left him unable to walk, he went to Dr. Peter Simonian of Simonian Sports Medicine Center in Fresno for help. Philip knew his leg injury was far from ordinary and that he’d need an orthopedic specialist to put his badly fractured leg back together. While it wouldn’t be easy, Dr. Simonian knew he had to clean up debris in Philip’s knee and carefully piece back his broken bones with carefully placed screws. The surgery was a success and Philip left the hospital only hours after his surgery. While Philip knows his recovery will be a long one, he looks forward to getting back on his motorcycle when he’s able.
