Dr. Keith Boone performs bariatric surgery to help an Atwater woman prevent future medical problems.
Bariatric patient Angela Duran knew her family history meant she might have future health problems if she didn’t take action soon. Because other family members had developed major health problems, Angela decided to take the preventative measure of having bariatric surgery to help with her weight loss. Angela did her research and found Dr. Keith Boone at Fresno Heart & Surgical Hospital. Angela’s husband and children came with her on the day of surgery to encourage her choice. Dr. Boone said Angela’s surgery was successful and Angela spent a short recovery time in the hospital before going home. Now, Angela’s back on the treadmill and on track with her health and her weight goals – thanks to Dr. Boone.
