Table Mountain Rancheria’s $10 million gift to Community Regional Medical Center’s trauma center more than a decade ago was more than an investment. It was a promise that has helped serve those in need – more than a million to date – in the hospital’s emergency department. Clovis Community Medical Center's first robotic surgery — a hysterectomy for patient Terri Garcia — was performed by surgeon Kelli Beingesser in the hospital's brand new, state-of-the-art surgical suite specifically designed to house the da Vinci® robot. This dedicated operating room is one of the hospital's inpatient operating suites which recently opened as part of the $300 million Clovis Community expansion.
The bariatric surgery program at Clovis Community Medical Center has received another accreditation from the Bariatric Surgery Center Network (BSCN) Accreditation Program of the American College of Surgeons (ACS). The hospital first earned BSCN accreditation in 2007 and has maintained the highest level of accreditation through every review cycle since.
