Gracee, Ashlee, Emilee and their parents Matthew and Cadee Peters visited Community Regional Medical Center’s neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) to celebrate a milestone – their fifth birthdays.
The active 5-year-old girls stopped and posed for a photo with Dr. Krishnakumar Rajani, director of the neonatal program at Community Regional Medical Center, who was there when they were born.
In 2006, mom Cadee was admitted to Community Regional’s high-risk pregnancy unit. The triplets spent more than a month in the NICU but the Peters’ were able to see their babies soon after birth – an important benefit of having a high-risk pregnancy and NICU located in the same hospital.
