  We can't wait for the 2nd Annual TRUE HEART MYSTERY RIDE coming up this Saturday, June 14th to benefit Terry's House! Registration opens at 9:00am in parking lot 4 at Terry's House. Participants can look forward to a 10:00am event kick-off and the day's motorcycle ride will consist of a 5 stop poker run ending with a great PARTY at a secret location!

This week, June 16-20, we are celebrating Healthcare Risk Management (HRM) Week. This annual campaign from the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management (ASHRM) raises awareness about the critical role healthcare risk managers and safety professionals play in patient safety, patient care practices, quality assurance, safe work environments, and liability. This campaign promotes solutions to help prevent some of the most common patient safety events.

Community Medical Centers just won two awards at the GetWell Network’s national conference for using this patient-centered technology to enhance care in our hospitals and better engage families and patients in their care. The GetWell Network turns the television in patient rooms into an entertainment and education portal where patients can view video education courses and discharge instructions tailored for them.

...The Beaches of Normandy. Today, we remember the invasion of June 6th, 1944. Allied forces descended upon the beaches to free Eastern Europe of German dominance.

The planning started a year earlier and much detail was discussed: weather, tides, time of day, how to precede the amphibious landings with naval and air bombardments, and so many other details.
