TRUE HEART is an understatement!

We are beyond thrilled with the success of the first-ever True Heart Women’s Motorcycle Club – Mystery Ride on June 8th! As the beneficiary of this wonderful event, we could not be more grateful for the incredible generosity that was displayed by riders throughout the day and for all of the man hours, sweat and love that went into planning this day-long event! To Helen McNary, all of the women of True Heart Women’s Motorcycle Club and all of the volunteers who made this day possible, THANK YOU. THANK YOU. THANK YOU!!! You have truly set the bar high for this first-year ride! We are already looking forward to the next!

It was a scorching 109 degrees here in Fresno on June 8th!!! Despite the heat, nearly 100 motorcycle riders joined us in anticipation of some fun to benefit a great cause –Terry’s House! Participants gathered in the morning at Terry’s House to register for the poker ride and to see the facility they were riding to support! The very talented, Bear Campbell volunteered to photograph the whole day! Bear kicked it off with a great group photo right out front of the house!

Riders spent the day traveling from stop to stop learning where they were headed next, as they arrived at each destination, hence the “Mystery Ride” event title.  Participants also picked up a poker card at each stop. Prizes were won for the best and worst hand at the end stop later in the day! Everyone enjoyed a fabulous home cooked meal, beverages and fun with friends at our secret last stop. A live auction with some great “big ticket” prizes and a very robust raffle table consisting of more than 30 raffle prizes contributed to the funds raised for the day! Needless to say, we had a lot of happy folks at the end of this great event!

On behalf of Terry’s House, a very BIG thank you goes out to the ladies of True Heart (Helldog, Irish and OG) for your passion and leadership in making this event happen! Many thanks also go out to CRMC’s very own, Bear Campbell, Todd Kezerian, and Ashley Pinheiro for their key roles throughout the day. We would also like to thank the many other key volunteers who made the day possible. To the ride participants, numerous clubs and the generous establishments who supported this ride, THANK YOU for believing in this event and Terry’s House!

I am excited to report that the True Heart Mystery Ride helped to raise $2000 for the ongoing operations of Terry’s House!!! These dollars will work to support so many families over the course of this year and we could not be more grateful for all each of you did to help us! We all have so much to celebrate for this first year!

With many thanks,

Christa Short - Executive Director, Terry's House

Yes, it was hot, but the

Yes, it was hot, but the results were well worth the effort put forth by all those involved. I look forward to next years ride. Plus, I made some new friends.

Full of Joy!

I played a VERY small roll in the planning where I helped create the arrows leading the riders round the Mystery Ride. Seeing the pictures of the amazing & fun day everyone had makes me very happy! So glad to hear how much money was raised for such a great cause (Terry's House). What a wonderful moment for everyone involved.

Hot but Fun Day for all

Even though it was a real scorcher of a day, this event was extremely well-planned and was a good ride up to Humphrey's Station and the Roadhouse in the foothills. The food was great, the directions were spot on with road sign arrows posted at the turns, and the support of the local mc community was outstanding. We have a lot of motorcycle enthusiasts who work for CMC who might not have been aware of this (those I spoke with had no idea of it). Maybe next year some effective in-house communications would be helpful in bringing out more of our own people in support.
