Highest honor for an accomplished doctor

Employee News & Views Editor: June 14, 20131 Comments

We at CMI are so proud of our colleague Dr. Mariela Resendes. The American College of Radiology (ACR) formally announced and conferred the degree of “Fellow” upon Mariela Resendes, M.D., at their formal convocation ceremony in Washington D.C. last month.

 Dr. Mariela Resendes

This honor is voted on by peers and is bestowed on ACR members who have demonstrated a commitment to the specialty of Radiology and shown dedicated service to the field of Radiology. It is one of the highest honors that the ACR recognizes for members.

It is an honor given to less than 12% of ACR members and given only to members who have demonstrated a history of service to the College, organized Radiology, and teaching. An excellent professional and community reputation is also necessary to become a Fellow of the ACR. Dr. Resendes has been an active member and Board member of the Central Valley Radiological Society and was endorsed by the CVRS Chapter to receive this Fellowship recognition.

The Valley is lucky to have such an accomplished radiologist.
Please join me in offering her Congratulations!
