I have the privilege of receiving hand written notes from grateful patients on a regular basis. The overarching message in each one is of appreciation for the great care they experienced. Comments range from very brief to more elaborate and all are very touching in their own way.

Recently, I was especially warmed by a note from a gentleman who had received care here. It was obvious that he was weak and frail as the writing was most strained and showed signs of a trembling hand. The words were simple but profound and expressed a hearty gratitude for the care he had received.

YouTube service was disrupted on 2/24/08....this apparently was an effort by a foreign government to block access to some video clips they did not agree with. The government's telecommunications authority regulator of that nation's telecom, ordered the internet service providers to block access to a SPECIFIC YouTube video. But in a bizarre twist, the government's efforts to block the clip wound up affecting YouTube users world-wide.

What will they think of next? Some magazines are going to try out this strategy for marketing consumable products. Welch's is apparently going to take out full page ads in People's Magazine this month so readers can sample it's grape juice by licking the page! Whoa...that's just plain icky!

Superman, Superwoman, Super Lotto, Super Mario, Supernatural, Superficial....and then there's Superdelegate....what does that mean? Oh, and by the way, did you know there's District-level delegates, At-Large delegates, Unpledged party-leader delegates, Pledged party-leader delegates, Unpledged elected-official delegates, Pledged elected-official delegates, and Unpledged add-on delegates. Oh please!

.......and round and round we go. I'm not an avid stock-watcher by any means but I did notice recently an article featuring the historical performance of a "Members Only Warehouse" stock, it was very stable and often progressive........and I know why!

Did any of you get a chance to watch the finals of the Westminster Kennel Club competition? Well, it was delightful! Precocious and so precious was the baying, bouncing, and barking beagle named Uno, and he had won! He apparently was a consistent crowd favorite and as his handler indicated, "He's a people's dog". The sold-out crowd chanted his name and roared when he was pronounced the winner.
