There are times where I long to see him, and oh how I miss him. He and I were kindred spirits. That's fascinating that we were so close because I am the fifth of six children, and yet he and I were the best of pals.

Most four year olds are speaking in rather predictable sequence, crafting sentences, relating personal experiences when prompted by an adult or others and seem to have the ability to understand communications via speech, song, video, and stories. They have many words in their vocabulary and it is fascinating to watch their attempts at making sense in a methodical fashion.

Recent news reports have featured an article about very serious mechanical failures of a ski lift at Sugarloaf Mountain in Maine. Allegedly the gear box malfunctioned that impacted the electrical motor causing the lift to suddenly stop and start going backwards.

It's that time of year again as we anticipate Spring, the time change, and of course our beloved Peeps! Agh! Personally-no thanks, can't stomach them...but I have family and friends who just LOVE them-have at it, you can have mine too.
