Carrying on his parents' legacy

Jason Liao continues the philanthropic work of the late H. Marcus and Marjorie E. Radin. Humbled by this opportunity, Liao carries on the legacy of his parents and hopes others in the community will be as inspired as he is by their example.

“I believe sending out the message of giving is very important. I made the decision to name the Breast Care Center and Conference Center after them [Marcus and Marjorie Radin], only to hope more people will get involved to make our community a better place,” said Liao.

Fresno natives Marcus and Marjorie Radin were strong business leaders and philanthropists throughout the Central Valley. They both knew the power of education and healthcare and spent their years together helping others through the Radin Foundation.

Since 1971, the Radin Foundation has helped Community Medical Centers in areas such as cancer care, endoscopy, cardiology, urology and most recently a $3 million dollar gift to Clovis Community’s H. Marcus Radin Conference Center that will accommodate the educational needs of physicians, employees, patients and families.

Liao was one of the first members of the Clovis Community Development Council – a group of leaders who give and help raise funds for Clovis Community initiatives. Liao says he is happy to take a small part in Community’s success.

Generous donors, like Liao and the Radin Foundation, help Community further its mission – to bring health and education to the Valley.
